Office of City Councilor Barbara G. Haller

Barbara G. Haller, a retired supervisor of meter testing services at National Grid USA Service Company located in Worcester, is serving her third two-year term as District Four Councilor.

As Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Land Use, she and her committee members consider all matters involving the acquisition of open space and all zoning and other general land use issues.

As Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Housing & Neighborhood Revitalization, she and her committee members consider all matters related to housing and the importance of housing to neighborhoods.

Councilor Haller believes that local government must be an active partner in protecting and developing strong neighborhoods. She considers litter and excessive noise and traffic management to be issues of high priority.

Interns may attend city functions, meet council members and learn how they manage their campaigns. Interns in the past have made flyers and done "stand-outs" supporting Barbara's votes.
