Flagg Street Elementary School

Flagg Street Elementary School is a K-6 school serving students on the city's more affluent west side. Past interns have observed and assisted in a traditional fourth grade classroom and assisted a teacher working with 6th grade gifted and talented students. A significant amount of time is spent in an observational capacity and/or assisting individuals and small groups working on assignments. Teachers have also been open to interns planning, developing and presenting lessons or units to the full class.
