Girls, Inc.

Girls, Inc. is a social service agency for young girls. It includes five program areas: life skills, recreation, social development, performing arts, and home economics. To be full-time, the intern must be willing to multi-task and assist with office work. This is a good placement for interns who see themselves as role models for young women. Possible independent projects include designing and facilitating a new program, working to improve an existing program area, etc.
