Jan Curley has worked in the non-profit sector, specializing inprogram development, fundraising, and marketing, fortwenty years. During that time, she has focused on creating new programs, building and strengthening fund development initiatives, and helping organizations attract and steward volunteers and donors. She has held management positions at a number of excellent organizations in central Massachusetts, including the YMCA of Greater Worcester, Youth Opportunities Upheld (Y.O.U.) Inc., a child welfare and behavioral health organization, and the United Way of Central Massachusetts.

Jan has held leadership positions in area professional organizations, including Worcester Area Women in Development, where she served as President, and Leave A Legacy of Central Massachusetts, where she served on the Steering Committee and also as Chairperson. Jan currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Central Massachusetts Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Starting out in direct service with an M.A. in Educational Psychology, Jan began her career practicing psychotherapy at an outpatient counseling center. She then spent four happy years at Dynamy in the mid-1980s as an advisor before moving on to non-profit administration. Jan enjoys gardening, cooking, interior design, and her new passion, swing dancing. She lives in Worcester with her Springer Spaniel, and her occasionally-home-from-college son who has had the benefit of much experiential learning in his own young life.
