The Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife (MassWildlife) is responsible for the conservation - including restoration, protection and management - of fish and wildlife resources for the benefit and enjoyment of the public.

MassWildlife oversees commercial and recreational fishing and hunting throughout the state. Agency responsibilities include establishing size and catch limits that will support healthy populations for various species; breeding and stocking fish and wildlife; and monitoring fish and wildlife populations.

The internship is with the Fisheries Division and includes a mix of field and office work, from sampling, stocking and equipment maintenance to research and data entry.
