Midland Street School

The Midland Street School's mission is to provide programs of study that: incorporate the Massachusetts state frameworks; treat each child as an individual whose education must prepare him or her to be a successful member of society; encourage children to use their knowledge and skills in hands-on activities; to be independent thinkers; to celebrate diversity; to regularly give back to the community; and to learn to try their hardest and never give up.

Midland Street School is a small public elementary school, not far from Dynamy, where interns can get a good sense of public education in Worcester by assisting teachers with lesson plans, activities and the overall educational goals for students in Kindergarten through grade six.
