Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood offers a range of services for its Worcester area clients. Internship opportunities are available primarily in the agency's education department. Personnel perform a variety of outreach services, frequently to youth, on issues ranging from AIDS awareness to sexual orientation to pregnancy prevention. Outreach workers present at high schools and in other settings, and interns have the opportunity to accompany and assist in these efforts. In addition, Planned Parenthood maintains a library of written and video materials. An internship project may include reading and viewing materials on various topics in order to determine their usefulness for various populations.
