A graduate of Vassar College, Sarah chose Dynamy in January 2009 after four years working in educational and vocational programming at SMOC, a large social service agency in Framingham, MA. Her work with underserved and in-crisis populations, including those struggling with mental illness and addiction issues, has taught her how necessary self-reflection and conscious decision-making are for students to move beyond internally-imposed barriers. As a proponent of education in all forms, Sarah has found growth opportunities in activities such as goal-keeping for her co-ed soccer team, working in the fields of local farms, nannying, and adopting an overly-energetic German Shepherd/Lab mix puppy to eat her shoes and shed excessive amounts of hair on her rugs. Sarah lives with her husband outside of Worcester, where they battle ice storms in winter and poison ivy in the summer.
