WEIM news talk radio station is located 20-min north of Worcester between the "twin cities" of Fitchburg and Leominster, Massachusetts. The radio station first signed on October 6, 1941 and, for 65 years has been serving the surrounding community with news, music, sports, public service and more. WEIM broadcasts local high school sports events and Fitchburg State College games throughout the year, as well as Boston Red Sox Baseball and NFL Programming including NFL Today and Sunday's Best Games.

Interns will help in the studio writing stories for on-air use, and participate in promotional events; and because WEIM is a small station, interns will have a greater opportunity to become more involved in all aspects of news talk radio.
