Worcester Public Library The Worcester Public Library provides free information and services that promote lifelong learning and personal enrichment. In all its operations, the library strives to eliminate barriers to the pursuit of ideas. Interns can work in the children's room, assist library patrons with obtaining books, help with children's story hours, shelve books, and work on promotional projects. Interns may also volunteer with the Library Bookstore which sells high quality used books and other media, book-related gifts, office supplies, and Worcester-related items. All proceeds from the store support programs at the Main Library and its branches. The store is operated by The Friends of the Worcester Public Library, Inc. |
