Worcester Telegram & Gazette

The Worcester Telegram & Gazette is Worcester's daily newspaper. Most national news stories are taken off the AP wires, but otherwise the paper has a team of reporters responsible for news in the paper's local, sports, and business sections. The possibility exists to work in each of these departments.

Interested Interns should expect to submit a writing sample as part of the interview/application process.  More opportunities exist for anyone who is open to the possibility of learning the basics about journalism in any department.  Attention to detail is crucial. Past interns have had articles with by-lines appear in the paper.
