If
the Internship Year sounds like something you want to pursue, come
meet us. We're looking for motivated men and women ready to take
on the risks and responsibilities of learning by doing. We'll get
a picture of the person you are in these ways:
The
Interview
When
you come to Worcester, we'll show you
a slide show that explains the Outward Bound
trip, internships, and apartment information.
We require the interview and make it a time for you to tell us about
yourself in a way that's hard to do on paper.
If
you would like more information or to schedule an interview please
contact Jennifer Ridder, Acting Director of Admissions at jridder@dynamy.org,
or call (508) 755-2571.
You
may request
an application here.

The
Application
We
want three references from people who can tell us about you. How
much responsibility you like to take on? What do you do outside
the classroom? What do you believe in? How do people see you?
You'll
have to write essays with yourself as the main topic. What kind
of experiences have you had that you think might prepare you for
the Internship Year? What led you to thinking about this year? Your
reflections will help us to evaluate your application.
Transcripts
We
want your academic transcripts, but we won't judge you on your grades.
Where you're coming from gives us a broader idea of who you are.
Early
decision
If
you're sure you want the Dynamy Year, we'll take a load off your
mind by letting you know our decision by mid February. You'll need
to get all of your application materials to us by January 31. If
you're accepted, you must agree within two weeks to withdraw other
applications you've filed, and secure your spot with a tuition deposit.
Regular
decision
We
review applications on a rolling admissions basis beginning on February
15. Even though we set no formal deadline for applications, we suggest
you have all of your materials to us by late spring/early summer
since we only have a limited number of available spaces.
