Many
interns come to Dynamy from a year of two of college, or with plans
for starting college the year following their Internship Year. Earning
college credit for their education at Dynamy is a priority to some
of them. To meet that concern, Dynamy grants up to 12 college credits
to interns who enroll in the Internship Year College Credit Option.
(There is a per-credit cost for participating.)
Dynamy
is pleased to have a unique collaboration with Clark University
in Worcester, MA, a highly respected university. The Dynamy staff
members who teach these seminars are adjunct faculty at Clark University.
If you participate in these seminars, you will receive a transcript
showing your credits earned at Clark.
Readings,
class discussions, and writing assignments, provide a lens through
which interns can broaden their understanding of their particular
internship. Conversely, internship experiences provide a way to
test and evaluate ideas and theories from the reading and discussion.
This interplay of practice and theory is central to the learning
process of the Dynamy/Clark seminars.
Seminar
topics offered:
- Organizational
Behavior: How to Survive and Thrive in any Organization.
- Issues of
Race, Class, and Gender: Hidden Privileges and Penalties
- Social Identity
and Personal Action: What Difference Can I Make?
