Worcester, Massachusetts, New England's second largest city, is at once collegiate, New England, and urban. Social and cultural events abound. You can enjoy live music from folk to alternative to classical, poetry readings, and various activities at Worcester's ten college campuses. The Worcester Centrum attracts internationally known rock musicians and sport teams. A ski area and other outdoor recreation sites are right outside the city. Boston, with all of its cultural attractions, is less than an hour away, as is Providence, Rhode Island. Hartford, Connecticut and Springfield Massachusetts are just slightly more than an hour away.

Worcester public transportation throughout the city, and a Boston/Worcester "T" commuter line make most travel in and out of the city convenient. For air travel we suggest the Worcester Airport, Green Airport in Providence, Bradley in Hartford or Logan in Boston.
