No person is an island.
Ultimately, the entire program is set up to support students in honing their strengths and improving on necessary skills for success in higher education, careers, and life, including communication, organizational and time management skills.
In addition to the mentoring guidance provided by your individual advisor, there are a variety of other ways our professional staff can support you. In residential life, the resident coordinators and assistant director can coach you through struggles or help mediate a temporary conflict or difficult discussion with roommates. Similarly, our program director’s office is like the counseling center on a college campus, where students can gain additional temporary support if they find themselves struggling with anxiety or a difficult family situation.
Other components designed to aid you in learning effective strategies to ensure greater success and confidence with your next steps in life include: Workshops, Future Planning, Learning Differences, and the College Seminars.
